It has armrests that wrap around the sides of you and they also have little pockets for random things like your cell phone or the remote, etc. It’s so nice to just lean back into my comfortable couch and have this big soft desk in front of me. I am going to buy another one for my husband as well. It’s tightly packaged & very compact when it arrived. I took it out of the package and it instantly poofed out. The fabric is soft, but sturdy. And I have spilled on it a couple times and was able to easily sponge it off with a warm sponge & a little dish soap. This would be a great gift.
